Hey guys! So, today’s vlog is a bit different. Your boy, the Dead King, decided to brave the elements and go for a jalan-jalan (walkabout) around the kampung (village), even though the sky was looking moody and grey. And, to be honest, my legs were a bit sore! But, hey, a little soreness never stopped me before, right? Let's dive into this adventure. We're gonna explore the village in the mendung (cloudy) weather. This vlog is all about enjoying the simple things, soaking in the atmosphere, and maybe finding some hidden gems along the way. So, grab your virtual umbrella, and let's get started. I'm hoping to share the experience of dead king travelling to his village. I'm feeling a little bit lazy, so I decided to take it easy today. It's a great experience, especially with the village’s atmosphere and its people. This video will capture my journey around the village. I love the experience and this will be an awesome memory. I hope you guys enjoy the video and also the village's atmosphere. I'm going to capture every moment on my video, this will be so cool!

I was looking forward to this village walk because it is a routine I do every week, just to ease my mind. The village is so calming and a great place to stay. You will never get bored of it. You'll probably think that because I am a king, I will have no time to go to the village, but it is the opposite. I always make time to go here every week and I love it. This is also a place where I can recharge my energy because it is very relaxing and refreshing. The people here are also very friendly, and I enjoy talking to them. I usually walk with no specific destination, I just want to walk around and explore the village. I also like to take photos and videos to capture the moment. This is how I spend my day. But, today is a little bit different because I feel a bit sore. So I will take it easy today and make this journey a relaxing one.

The Ambience of the Village

The air feels different when it’s about to rain, doesn’t it? There's this unique smell, a mix of earth, leaves, and a hint of wetness that just screams “cozy.” That was exactly what I was feeling during my walk. The mendung weather cast a soft, diffused light, making everything look muted and peaceful. The village itself, usually bustling with activity, was a bit quieter. People were either huddled indoors or going about their business with a slightly quicker pace. I always find this kind of atmosphere incredibly calming. The soft light created by the mendung is perfect for taking some cool shots of the village. I got my camera ready to capture the moment. As I strolled along the familiar paths, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. It's in the little things, you know? The way the leaves rustle in the breeze, the distant sound of someone's radio, the sight of a cat curled up on a porch. These are the things that make the village special and also the memories that I will always cherish. I'm lucky I have a village like this, where I can escape from my stressful life. This is the place where I can truly relax and enjoy myself. I'm so grateful for this.

I started my journey with a slow walk, just to warm up my legs. I feel much better when I walk at a slow pace. I didn’t want to push myself too hard. I'm not a fan of this kind of weather. The mendung weather is my weakness. But since I promised myself to do a jalan-jalan around the village, I kept going. I passed some friendly people who were busy with their daily tasks. Some of them were sweeping their front yards, some were selling their goods, and some were just relaxing and chatting with their neighbors. I greeted them and exchanged some smiles. They also asked me where I was going, and I just told them I was taking a walk to enjoy the weather. I also met some children who were playing at the side of the road. They were so happy, they were playing without any worries. I also joined them and we played together for a while. It was fun!

The Journey Around the Kampung

Alright, let’s get into the details of this jalan-jalan! First off, the soreness in my legs. Yeah, it was there, but nothing could stop me. I started my walk around the rice fields, where the farmers were working. Seeing them in action, tending to their crops, always fills me with a sense of respect. The village is still filled with a lot of farmers and I always love to see how they're working. I really appreciate their hard work. The view of the rice fields is also beautiful, especially with the soft light from the mendung. It was all so peaceful. The water in the rice fields reflected the sky, creating a beautiful mirror effect. I took some photos to capture the moment. The light was perfect for photography, even though the weather wasn’t the best. It created a unique mood, and I love it. I made a stop at the local warung (small eatery) to grab a quick coffee and some snacks. It was a perfect way to recharge. The owner always welcomes me with a smile, and the coffee is always on point. I also tried some snacks, which were also delicious. The coffee and snacks gave me a boost of energy, and I was ready to keep going. I met some friends and we also chatted together while enjoying our coffee and snacks. What a great experience!

As I continued my walk, I explored the small streets, where I met some of the villagers. Some were busy with their daily tasks, while others were just relaxing and chatting with their neighbors. I greeted them and exchanged some smiles. I had a little chat with them, and they shared some of their stories. It was a great opportunity to get to know them better. They are all friendly. I love these moments. There are so many stories to be heard in a village. The old people love to share their experiences. I could feel the closeness and the warmth of the community. I feel like I'm part of the family whenever I come to the village.

The Charm of the Village

One of the best things about the village is its simplicity. Life here moves at a slower pace, and there's a real sense of community. The houses, mostly traditional, with their front yards and gardens, and the smell of cooking food wafting from the kitchens. This all creates a unique charm, something you won’t find in the city. There is a sense of calm and peacefulness that you will never find in the city. The people here are also very friendly, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. They never hesitate to offer assistance. If you ever have a problem, they will always help you. The connection is strong, and everyone cares about each other. It's inspiring to see. It’s a place where you can be yourself, without any worries. It’s also very refreshing, especially if you’re tired of city life. The village is the perfect getaway. I am always excited to go here. Being here makes me a better person.

I really like to take some photos of the village, especially when the weather is mendung. It gives a dramatic effect and makes it even more special. The colors are more vibrant, and the shadows are more defined. The soft light of the mendung is also perfect for taking portraits. The villagers are also very kind, and they don’t mind me taking their pictures. They were all very cooperative. This time, I captured some candid shots of people going about their daily lives. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, and I felt a sense of connection with the village and its people. This is an experience I will never forget.
